“ We sat in the front window seat. You order upon entering. We asked for water and they brought a large glass bottle with a seal on top and two cold metal glasses. I liked the water and the glasses but my wife would have preferred ice. Seating wasn’t very comfortable and tables were family style and larger tables were meant to be shared. I had fish and chips. The fish was great. It was hot, very tender and juicy, and the batter was light and tasty. The fries were not to my liking, as they were the stringy hard ones, but I acknowledge others like that style. The service was good. The food was not quick, but reasonable for the high quality. I could see that the experience at the counter was very different and had a great deal of interaction with the staff and could see into the kitchen. I have had take out from here and it was very good. ”
